LINN Testimonials

“At LINN, we are empowered with a lot of individual responsibility to manage our assets as area engineers. From reservoir engineering to facilities, we manage it all so we have a lot of opportunities to grow our skill sets across disciplines. This includes field experience as we also spend a lot of time in the field, where we can see firsthand how our assets are performing.”

“Interning at LINN was by far the most rewarding and educational experience that I had throughout my time at the University of Oklahoma in Petroleum Engineering. I was given practical, hands-on industry experience while completing real-world projects that were beneficial to both me and the company. LINN mentors were extremely helpful and made sure that every day at work was a learning experience. By the end of both internships, I left knowing that I had truly made a difference. I can directly attribute my success in school to the time I spent working with and learning from the employees at LINN. As a recent graduate and full-time engineer with LINN now, I would recommend the internship program to any student wanting to further their career and develop a strong understanding of the profession through practical experience.”

“Interning for LINN was an amazing experience. The culture is great – I was treated like family and given responsibility beyond what I could find at any other company as a freshman and sophomore. I have never learned so much, seen so much, and accomplished so much in two short months.”
Daniel
Texas A&M
“Working for LINN was an invaluable experience. After completing just one year of engineering at Tech, I was surprised and grateful to receive a field internship in Tulsa. My mentors and all of the field personnel helped contribute to my knowledge of the production side of the oil and natural gas industry. In all that I did – from hands-on working in the field to classroom instruction – I always felt that the company's number-one priority (aside from safety) was supplementing and expanding what I learned in school. I appreciated LINN giving me an actual LINN project and not just busy work. It was amazing to have a significant amount of responsibility throughout the summer. I could not have asked for a better company to start my internship experiences!”
